Popular Buying Questions

What type of products do Garland Powersports sell?

We specialise in kids electric bikes, electric balance bikes, youth off-road bikes, pit bikes, parts and accessories. Our main brands include Revvi, Amped, STACYC, EBOX, RFN, 10Ten and selected performance youth bike brands.

Are you a real UK business?

Yes. Garland Powersports is a UK-based online specialist retailer. We focus on proper youth powersports products rather than generic toy-store bikes, with UK stock, fast dispatch and ongoing product support.

Do you have a showroom?

We are primarily an online-only business and do not operate a traditional public showroom. Most bikes are stored boxed in warehousing for fast UK dispatch.

Do you hold bikes in stock?

Yes, most products shown as in stock are held in UK warehousing or with our UK supplier network ready for dispatch. This allows us to offer fast UK delivery on bikes, parts and accessories.

Which electric bike size is right for my child?

The right size depends on age, height, confidence and riding experience. As a rough guide, 12” bikes suit younger first-time riders, 16” bikes suit most children moving up from balance bikes, 18” bikes suit older or taller riders, and 20” bikes are better for confident older kids.

Revvi or Amped — which is better?

Revvi bikes are very popular as lightweight electric balance bikes with a strong UK parts network. Amped bikes usually offer a more premium, performance-focused feel, especially on models like the A16 Pro, A20 and A20 Pro.

If you are comparing the two brands, view our full guide here: Revvi vs Amped.

Are electric balance bikes worth it?

Yes, for many children they are one of the best ways to build balance, throttle control and confidence before moving onto larger petrol or electric bikes. They are quieter, cleaner and easier to manage than petrol bikes, making them ideal for controlled off-road spaces.

Delivery & Collection Questions

How fast is delivery?

Delivery times vary depending on the product, but most in-stock bikes and parts are dispatched quickly using UK couriers. Estimated delivery dates are shown at checkout where available.

Do bikes arrive built?

Most bikes are delivered boxed and partially assembled, usually around 85–90% built. Basic final assembly is normally required, such as fitting handlebars, front wheel, number plate or small finishing parts depending on the model.

Can you fully build the bike before delivery?

In some cases, we may be able to arrange a fully built or prepared bike by request. This depends on the model, timing, workshop availability and delivery method. Please contact us before ordering if this is essential.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If a courier attempts delivery and nobody is available, the courier may reattempt delivery, leave instructions or take the item back to the depot. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure somebody is available to receive larger bike deliveries.

Assembly & Setup Questions

Do I need mechanical experience to assemble a bike?

Most electric balance bikes require only basic assembly, but you should still check all bolts, brakes, wheels, controls and safety-critical parts before use. If you are unsure, we recommend having the bike checked by a competent mechanic before riding.

Should I check the bike before every ride?

Yes. These are off-road machines, so bolts, brakes, chains, tyres, wheels and controls should be checked regularly. Children’s bikes especially need regular inspection because they are often used hard on uneven surfaces.

Are tools included?

Many bikes include basic tools in the box, but we still recommend using good-quality tools where possible and checking everything carefully before the first ride.

Warranty & Support Questions

Do your bikes come with warranty?

Yes, new bikes come with manufacturer warranty support. Warranty terms vary by brand and product. Many youth electric bike warranties are parts-based, meaning faults are diagnosed and replacement parts are supplied where appropriate.

How do warranty claims work?

If a fault occurs, we will usually ask for clear photos, videos and basic diagnostic checks. This helps confirm the issue and allows the correct part to be supplied. Full bikes are not normally returned unless specifically agreed.

What is the Revvi warranty process?

Revvi warranty claims are normally handled through Revvi’s warranty form. Customers may be asked to provide proof of purchase, photos or videos of the issue, and details of the fault so the correct replacement part can be supplied.

What is the Amped warranty process?

Amped warranty claims often require simple diagnostics, such as checking battery voltage with a voltmeter, inspecting connectors and confirming the chassis/frame number. Once the fault is confirmed, the required replacement part can usually be supplied.

Does warranty cover crash damage?

No. Warranty does not usually cover crash damage, misuse, neglect, poor assembly, lack of maintenance, water damage or wear-and-tear items such as tyres, brake pads, chains and grips.

Parts, Batteries & Accessories

Can I buy spare batteries?

Yes. We supply spare and upgraded batteries for selected Revvi, Amped and other electric bike models. Spare batteries are one of the best upgrades for increasing ride time and reducing downtime between sessions.

Do you sell replacement parts?

Yes. We stock and supply selected replacement parts including batteries, chargers, controllers, throttles, tyres, brake parts, plastics and other model-specific components.

Do you sell helmets and protective gear?

Yes. We strongly recommend helmets, gloves and protective clothing for all riders. Many customers choose a bike and gear bundle so the rider has the essentials from day one.

Use, Safety & Legal Questions

Are these bikes road legal?

No. The electric bikes, electric balance bikes and pit bikes we sell are intended for private land and controlled off-road use only. They should not be used on public roads, pavements or cycle paths unless specifically stated as road legal.

Where can my child ride an electric bike?

These bikes should only be used on private land with the landowner’s permission or at suitable off-road riding areas. Always follow local rules and ensure the rider is supervised.

Can adults ride these bikes?

Some larger electric bikes, such as selected EBOX, RFN and Electro & Co models, may be suitable for older teens or adults depending on rider size and intended use. Smaller Revvi, Amped and STACYC models are designed for children and should not be used by adults.

Payment Questions

Do you offer Klarna?

Yes, Klarna may be available at checkout on eligible orders, subject to Klarna approval. Available payment options may vary depending on order value and customer eligibility.

Can I pay by bank transfer?

Bank transfer may be available on selected orders by arrangement. Orders are only released once payment has cleared.

Can I reserve a bike?

In some cases, we may be able to reserve or prepare a bike with a deposit. This depends on stock availability and the specific product.
