Quick Summary

  • Warranty periods and coverage vary depending on the brand and product.
  • Many manufacturer warranties are parts-only and do not normally include labour.
  • A manufacturer warranty is separate from, and does not replace, your statutory rights against Garland Powersports.
  • A reported fault may need to be diagnosed or inspected before its cause and the appropriate remedy can be confirmed.
  • A used bike will not normally be replaced in full where a repair or replacement part is the appropriate remedy.
  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, crashes, modification, wear and tear or inadequate maintenance is not covered.
  • Where necessary, we can arrange for a bike to be returned to our workshop for inspection.

Before Submitting a Claim

Please have the following information ready before completing the form:

  • Your order number or other reasonable proof of purchase
  • The chassis number or frame number, where applicable
  • Clear photographs of the complete bike or product
  • Close-up photographs of the affected component
  • Short videos clearly showing the reported issue
  • A description of what happened and when it first occurred
  • Details of any assembly, adjustments, checks or repairs already carried out
  • Details of any collision, impact, water exposure or modification

We may request further information where it is reasonably required to assess the claim.

How Warranty and Fault Claims Work

1. Submit the warranty form

Complete the form with as much information as possible. Clear and complete evidence helps avoid delays.

2. Initial assessment

We will review the information and may consult the relevant manufacturer, supplier or technical team. We may also ask for further photographs, videos or reasonable diagnostic checks.

3. Inspection where required

If the cause cannot be established remotely, the product may need to be returned or made available for collection so it can be inspected in our workshop.

4. Findings and outcome

We will confirm whether the issue appears to be an inherent product fault, an assembly or setup issue, wear and tear, accident damage, misuse or another cause.

Where a valid fault is established, the appropriate remedy may be a replacement part, repair, replacement, refund or another resolution, depending on the circumstances, the applicable warranty and your statutory rights.

How Warranty Support Is Provided

Many bikes sold by Garland Powersports include a manufacturer-backed warranty. The length and coverage of that warranty depend on the brand and product purchased.

Manufacturer warranties are commonly parts-only. Where a valid manufacturer warranty fault is confirmed, the usual resolution may be the supply of a replacement part together with appropriate fitting or diagnostic guidance.

Important: Reporting a fault does not automatically entitle the customer to a complete replacement bike or an immediate refund. The product and the cause of the reported issue may first need to be assessed or inspected.

Where the product has been assembled, adjusted, modified, ridden or involved in an accident, inspection may be required to determine whether the issue is an inherent fault or has resulted from assembly, setup, misuse, damage or wear.

Labour and repairs

Labour is not normally included under a manufacturer’s parts-only warranty. However, this does not limit any remedy or obligation that applies under UK consumer law where goods were faulty when supplied.

Many straightforward claims can be resolved through remote diagnosis and replacement parts. Where this is not appropriate, we may arrange for the product to be returned to our workshop for inspection, adjustment or repair.

Customers must not arrange third-party repairs or incur costs without our written approval. Unauthorised work may interfere with our ability to assess the original condition or cause of the issue and may not be reimbursed.

Our commitment

We will assess every claim fairly and provide the remedy required by the applicable warranty and UK consumer law.

Inspection and Product Condition

If a product is alleged to be faulty, Garland Powersports may gather reasonable information and inspect the product before determining the cause of the issue and the appropriate outcome.

Please stop using the product and retain it, together with all components, packaging and accessories, in its current condition. Do not dismantle, adjust or attempt to repair it unless instructed by us.

Where necessary, we will provide return instructions or arrange collection. Our inspection findings may be recorded in writing and supported by photographs, video and diagnostic results.

A warranty claim may be declined where the evidence shows that the problem was caused by incorrect assembly, inadequate safety checks, misuse, collision, unauthorised modification, neglect, lack of maintenance or continued use after a problem became apparent.

If the evidence establishes that the goods were faulty when supplied, the matter will be handled in accordance with your statutory rights regardless of any separate manufacturer-warranty exclusions.

Assembly and Pre-Ride Checks

Unless a professional Built & PDI service was selected at checkout, boxed bikes may require assembly, adjustment and complete safety checks before use.

The customer must follow the manufacturer’s instructions, product listing and any product-specific warranty conditions. Where professional assembly or a PDI is required, it must be completed by a suitably qualified and competent mechanic.

Before the first ride, all safety-critical components must be inspected and tested. This includes factory-fitted components and should cover the brakes, calipers, discs, wheels, axles, handlebars, steering, suspension, chain, controls, fasteners and tyre pressures.

Do not ride the bike if any component is loose, incorrectly fitted, damaged, inadequately adjusted or not operating correctly.

A problem caused by incorrect assembly, inadequate checks or customer adjustment is not an inherent manufacturing fault. Where the cause is disputed, the bike may need to be inspected before the claim can be decided.

What Is Usually Covered?

Manufacturer warranty normally covers manufacturing defects or specified component failures occurring within the applicable warranty period. Exact coverage depends on the brand and product.

Manufacturer warranty does not usually cover:

  • General wear and tear
  • Consumable components, including brake pads, tyres, tubes, chains and sprockets
  • Crash, impact or collision damage
  • Misuse, neglect or unsuitable use
  • Water or moisture damage
  • Incorrect assembly or adjustment
  • Failure to carry out required pre-ride checks
  • Lack of maintenance
  • Racing, competition use or use outside the product’s intended purpose
  • Unauthorised modifications or non-standard parts
  • Damage caused by continued use after a fault or warning sign appears

These manufacturer-warranty exclusions do not remove any statutory remedy that applies where the goods themselves were faulty when supplied.

When Did You Purchase the Product?

The available warranty coverage and statutory remedies depend on the product, when it was purchased and the nature and cause of the reported issue.

Under UK consumer law, where a fault becomes apparent within the first six months, it is generally presumed to have been present at delivery unless Garland Powersports can show otherwise or that presumption is inconsistent with the circumstances—for example, where there is evidence of incorrect assembly, misuse, modification or accident damage.

The separate manufacturer warranty may have a shorter or longer duration depending on the brand. Expiry of a manufacturer warranty does not automatically remove any statutory rights you may have.

Please submit the warranty form so the issue can be assessed properly.

Battery and Charging Issues

If your issue relates to a battery not charging, the charger light changing colour or the bike not powering on, please include a clear video showing:

  • The charger connected to a suitable power supply
  • The charger light colour
  • The battery and charging connections
  • What happens when the bike is switched on
  • Any display, throttle or power response
  • Any fault codes shown

Do not open, dismantle or attempt to repair a battery, charger or controller. Damaged, swollen, unusually hot or wet batteries must not be charged or used.

Brand Warranty Notes

Revvi

Revvi claims generally require proof of purchase, the chassis number and clear photographs or videos. Valid manufacturer claims may be handled directly by Revvi’s warranty team, with support from Garland Powersports where required.

Amped

Amped claims may require basic diagnostic checks, such as confirming battery voltage, inspecting connectors and providing the frame or chassis number.

EBOX

EBOX warranty coverage is subject to the applicable EBOX warranty terms. Boxed EBOX bikes must be assembled and PDI checked as specified in the product listing and manufacturer instructions. Evidence of professional assembly may be required where the claim could relate to assembly or setup.

Sur-Ron and larger electric bikes

Larger performance electric bikes may require more detailed photographs, videos, diagnostic information and workshop inspection because of the higher-performance components fitted.

Electro & Co

Electro & Co warranty coverage varies by component and product. Claims may require photographs, videos and diagnostic information before the appropriate outcome can be confirmed.

Petrol pit bikes and quads

Manufacturer warranty periods for petrol products vary and may be shorter than those offered with some electric bikes. Please refer to the individual product listing and applicable brand terms.

Important Warranty Information

Please provide clear photographs, videos, proof of purchase and the frame or chassis number where applicable. We may request additional evidence or require the product to be inspected.

Submitting a claim does not itself confirm that the product is faulty or that a particular remedy is due. The outcome will depend on the evidence, inspection findings, cause of the issue, applicable warranty and your statutory rights.

Manufacturer warranty support will normally follow the remedies provided by that warranty. Statutory claims against Garland Powersports will be handled separately in accordance with UK consumer law.

Nothing on this page limits or excludes your statutory rights.
