Please read these terms before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the version of these terms in force at the time of purchase.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Orders and Contract Formation
When placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- You are at least 18 years old
- The information supplied with your order is accurate and complete
- You are authorised to use the selected payment method
After placing an order, you will receive an automated email acknowledging that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A binding contract is formed when we accept your order and confirm that it has been processed or dispatched. If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any payment taken.
We may decline or cancel an order where:
- The product is unavailable
- A material pricing or product-information error has occurred
- Payment cannot be authorised
- The information supplied is incomplete, inaccurate or cannot be verified
- Our payment provider or fraud-analysis system identifies a security risk
- We reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful activity or unauthorised payment use
- Delivery cannot safely or reasonably be completed to the address supplied
For high-value orders, we may request reasonable identity, address or payment verification before accepting or releasing the order. We may hold fulfilment while these checks are completed. Any documents must be supplied through the secure method requested by us.
If the required checks cannot be completed, we may cancel the order and refund the original payment method. A cancelled order may need to be placed again using complete and matching customer, billing and delivery details.
Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, specifications, photographs and prices are accurate. Colours and appearance may vary slightly because of lighting, photography, screen settings and manufacturer production changes.
Manufacturers may update a productās specification or appearance. Any replacement specification will not materially reduce the productās quality or performance. If a significant change affects an existing order, we will contact the customer before dispatch where reasonably possible.
Any age, height, weight or rider-suitability information is general guidance only. Suitability also depends on the riderās ability, experience, inside-leg measurement and intended use. A responsible adult must assess whether a product is suitable.
Prices
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges and optional services are shown separately before the order is placed.
We may change prices at any time, but this will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
If an obvious and unmistakable pricing error occurs, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. We will not be required to supply a product at an obviously incorrect price where the error could reasonably have been recognised.
Payment
Available payment methods may include:
- Credit and debit cards
- PayPal
- Klarna
- Other payment or finance options displayed at checkout
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Garland Powersports does not store complete payment-card details.
Orders paid through Klarna, PayPal or another finance provider may also be subject to that providerās terms and eligibility checks.
Preorders and Deposits
Estimated arrival and dispatch dates for preorder products are provided in good faith but may change due to manufacturing, shipping, customs or supplier delays.
Where an order is placed using a deposit, the product will not be dispatched until the outstanding balance has been paid. The balance will be requested when the product is available or approaching dispatch.
Any term describing a deposit or preparation payment as non-refundable applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not remove any statutory cancellation or faulty-goods rights.
Delivery
Delivery estimates are provided as guidance and are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree a guaranteed delivery date in writing.
Delivery times may vary because of stock location, workshop preparation, PDI requirements, courier schedules, adverse weather and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We remain responsible for the goods while they are in transit until they are delivered into the physical possession of the customer or a person identified by the customer to receive them. This does not include a carrier independently chosen and arranged by the customer.
Customers are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address. Any authority to leave, safe-place request or delivery-address amendment must be agreed through the appropriate authorised channel.
Large bikes and quads may be delivered on a pallet or by a specialist courier. The customer must provide suitable access and ensure that a responsible adult is available to accept delivery.
We are not responsible for losses caused by a customer supplying incorrect or incomplete delivery information, although we will make reasonable efforts to assist.
If delivery is materially delayed, your statutory rights remain unaffected. Please see our Shipping & Delivery Information for further details.
Risk, Ownership and Delivery Inspection
Responsibility for accidental loss or damage normally passes to the customer when the goods are delivered into their physical possession or that of a person nominated by them.
Ownership passes once full payment has been received and the goods have been delivered.
Please inspect the delivery and packaging promptly. Visible damage, missing items or delivery discrepancies should be reported as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours, so that courier evidence can be preserved.
Reporting outside 48 hours does not remove your statutory rights, but delay may make transit damage more difficult to establish.
Online Cancellation and Change-of-Mind Returns
For most online purchases, consumers may cancel without giving a reason by notifying us within 14 days beginning the day after delivery. After notifying us, the goods must normally be returned within a further 14 days.
Our separate voluntary returns policy may allow eligible unused products to be returned within 30 days. The additional conditions of that voluntary policy do not restrict statutory cancellation rights.
A customer may examine a product only as they reasonably could in a shop. We may make a lawful deduction for any reduction in value caused by unnecessary handling, assembly, riding, use, alteration or damage.
Riding a bike outdoors, using it extensively or crashing it normally goes beyond the handling required to inspect it and may result in a substantial deduction for diminished value. This does not prevent a customer from making a genuine statutory faulty-goods claim.
Customers are responsible for the direct cost of change-of-mind returns unless we agree otherwise. Please see our Returns Policy for full instructions.
Built & PDI Services
Where available, customers may select a professional build and pre-delivery inspection service at checkout.
If a customer expressly requests that this service begins during the statutory cancellation period, they may be required to pay for the service already performed. Where the service has been completed in full following the customerās express request and acknowledgement, the service charge may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
This does not remove any statutory rights relating to the bike or the standard of the assembly service.
Boxed Bikes and Customer Assembly
Unless a Built & PDI service is selected and confirmed, a boxed bike may require assembly, adjustment and complete safety checks before use.
The customer must follow the manufacturerās instructions, safety guidance, product-specific warranty conditions and any requirements stated on the product listing.
Where professional assembly or a PDI is required, this must be completed by a suitably qualified and competent mechanic. The customer should retain an invoice or completed PDI record.
All safety-critical components must be inspected and tested before the first ride, including factory-fitted components. Checks must include the brakes, calipers, discs, wheels, axles, handlebars, steering, suspension, chain, controls, fasteners and tyre pressures.
A bike must not be ridden if any component is loose, incorrectly fitted, damaged, inadequately adjusted or not operating correctly.
Garland Powersports is not responsible for faults, damage or injury caused by incorrect assembly, inadequate pre-ride checks, misuse, neglect, unauthorised modifications or accident. This does not exclude responsibility for an inherent product fault or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Faulty Goods
Goods supplied by Garland Powersports must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If you believe a product is faulty, stop using it and contact us promptly. We may request photographs, videos, diagnostic information, the chassis or frame number and details of how the issue occurred.
Where the cause cannot be established remotely, the product must be returned or made available for collection and inspection. A reported fault does not by itself establish that the product was defective when supplied, particularly where the product has subsequently been assembled, adjusted, modified, ridden or involved in an accident.
During the first 30 days after delivery, consumers may have the short-term right to reject goods that failed to conform to the contract when supplied. Depending on the circumstances, reasonable inspection may be required to establish the condition and cause of the reported problem.
After the initial 30-day period, the normal first remedy is repair or replacement, subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Any remedy will be provided within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience and in accordance with the law.
Customers cannot claim for damage they caused themselves, ordinary wear and tear, incorrect assembly, inadequate maintenance, misuse, accident damage or unauthorised modification.
Warranty
Products may include a manufacturer warranty covering specified defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage and duration vary between products and manufacturers.
Manufacturer warranties may exclude labour, consumable parts, wear and tear, racing or competition use, water damage, accident damage, misuse, modification, overheating, incorrect assembly and inadequate maintenance.
Warranty claims may require supporting evidence and inspection. Customers must not arrange third-party repairs or incur costs without written authorisation, as unauthorised work may interfere with diagnosis and may not be reimbursed.
A manufacturer warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace your rights against Garland Powersports as the retailer. Please see the relevant product listing and our Warranty Terms.
Returns and Refunds
Returns must be authorised and completed using the instructions supplied by Garland Powersports. Large or high-value products must not be sent back without contacting us first.
For a valid online cancellation, refunds will be issued within 14 days after we receive the goods back or receive satisfactory evidence that they have been returned, as applicable.
Where a customer is entitled to reject faulty goods, a refund will be issued without undue delay and within 14 days after entitlement to the refund has been agreed.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. The payment provider may take additional time to display the funds.
Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
Off-Road Use, Rider Responsibility and Safety
Many products sold by Garland Powersports are designed for use on private land only and must not be used on public roads, pavements, cycle paths or public spaces unless the product is specifically road legal, properly registered, insured, taxed and used by an appropriately licensed rider.
The customer and rider are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, age restrictions and local rules.
Appropriate protective equipment must be worn, including an approved helmet. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. The rider must be competent and the product must be suitable for their size, weight, experience and ability.
Motorsport and off-road riding involve an inherent risk of injury. Customers must use products responsibly and within their intended design limits.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Defective products where liability cannot legally be excluded
- Breach of your statutory consumer rights
- Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, collision, competition use, incorrect assembly, inadequate maintenance, unauthorised modification or continued use after a fault or safety concern becomes apparent.
Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. If such an event materially affects an order, we will contact the customer and take reasonable steps to reduce the delay.
This clause does not remove any cancellation, refund or other rights provided by law.
Intellectual Property
Website content owned by Garland Powersports Ltd, including original text, branding, logos, graphics and photography, may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without written permission.
Manufacturer names, product images and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us with your order number and full details of the issue. We will respond and make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter promptly.
If a complaint remains unresolved after our internal process has been completed, we will provide any information about an applicable alternative dispute resolution service as required by law. We are not obliged to participate in an ADR process unless a legal or scheme requirement applies.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. Changes will apply to future orders and will not retrospectively alter the terms governing an order already accepted.
The current version will be published on this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections available under the law of the country in which you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
