Off-Road Use Only
Every motorised bike, pit bike and quad we sell is built and sold for off-road use. None of them are road legal. They are for riding on private land, with the landowner's permission, under proper supervision.
Built for tracks, fields and private land
Our bikes and quads are not registered, taxed or insured as road vehicles, and they are not designed to meet road vehicle standards. They are made for off-road riding only, wherever the bike is sold, whatever its size or speed.

A few simple habits make every session safer, whichever bike your rider is on.

- Helmet, gloves, goggles and protective clothing
- Start in the lowest speed setting
- Check brakes, tyres and controls before riding
- Choose the bike for the rider's size and ability
- Follow the manual for charging and maintenance
The right bike, in the right place
I grew up racing motocross, and the best riding I ever did was on tracks and private land, where riders can learn properly and safely. That is exactly what these bikes are made for. If you are not sure where your rider can use a bike, or which one suits them, speak to us before you order and we will help.
Off-road use FAQ
Can my child ride their electric bike on the road or pavement?
No. Our electric bikes are off-road only. They must not be ridden on roads, pavements, cycle paths or any public land, however small or slow the bike is.
Can I register or insure one for the road?
No. Our bikes and quads are not built or approved as road vehicles, so they cannot be used on public roads.
Can we ride in the local park or on the beach?
No. Parks, playing fields, beaches and common land are public spaces, even when they are quiet. Ride on private land with permission, or at a track or off-road venue.
What happens if a bike is ridden somewhere it should not be?
Riding a motorised bike or quad on public roads or land can break the law, and the police can stop the rider and may seize the bike. Keeping to private land avoids that risk.
Where can we find somewhere to ride?
Local motocross clubs, pit bike tracks and off-road centres often run practice sessions for young riders. Get in touch and we are happy to point you in the right direction.
This page explains how our products are intended to be used. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure about where a bike can be ridden, please check with the landowner or venue before riding.
