Only carry out this test if you are confident using a suitable multimeter and know which terminals should be measured. Avoid allowing the probes to touch each other while connected to the battery.
Test With Another Compatible Charger
Where possible, testing the battery with another confirmed-working charger is one of the easiest ways to narrow down the fault.
The charger must be the correct voltage, specification and connector type for the exact Revvi model. Do not test the battery with a charger simply because the plug appears to fit.
- If another charger works, your original charger may be faulty.
- If neither charger works, the battery or charging connection may require testing.
- If your charger works on another compatible battery, the original battery may be at fault.
Why Is My Revvi Charger Staying Green?
A charger that remains green does not always mean that the battery is faulty. It usually means that the charger does not believe the battery requires charging.
