Quick Answer
Which One Should You Buy?
Choose the V3 60R if you want the best balance of performance, range, control and price.
Choose the V3 72RS if you are an experienced rider specifically wanting the 72V flagship and strongest performance in the V3 range.
For most riders, the 60R is the smarter buy. For maximum V3 performance, choose the 72RS.
My Take as a British MX Rider
The biggest mistake is assuming that the flagship model is automatically the right bike. The V3 60R is already extremely quick and will offer more than enough performance for most riders.
The 72RS keeps the same compact chassis but adds the stronger 72V powertrain. That makes the decision less about physical size and more about the rider’s ability and how much performance they genuinely need.
I would start with the 60R for the best overall balance. I would only step up to the 72RS for an experienced rider who specifically wants the extra 72V hit.

The Biggest Difference: Power, Not Size
The V3 60R and V3 72RS are almost identical in physical size. Both use a compact 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheel setup, with a seat height of around 650mm and a wheelbase of around 980mm.
The main difference is the powertrain. The 60R uses a 60V platform with 4.5kW rated and 5.2kW peak output. The 72RS steps up to 72V, with 5.4kW rated and 6.3kW peak power.
In simple terms: the 60R is already extremely fast. The 72RS adds a stronger and more aggressive powertrain rather than a larger physical platform.
EBOX V3 60R: Who Is It Best For?
The Performance Sweet Spot
The 60R offers a strong mix of speed, battery capacity, control and value. It is the model most experienced riders should consider first.
- 60V 26Ah smart BMS battery
- 4.5kW rated and 5.2kW peak power
- Up to 53mph
- Fast but more manageable than the 72RS
- Best balance of price and performance
Choose the 60R if you want serious performance without automatically paying for the flagship model.
EBOX V3 72RS: Who Is It Best For?
The Flagship V3
The 72RS is the top-spec model in the V3 range. It is intended for experienced riders who specifically want the stronger 72V powertrain and most aggressive V3 performance.
- 72V 25Ah smart BMS battery
- 5.4kW rated and 6.3kW peak power
- Up to 55mph
- Stronger and more aggressive power delivery
- Flagship V3 specification
Choose the 72RS if outright V3 performance matters more than getting the best value.
Is the V3 72RS Worth the Extra Money?
If the rider specifically wants the strongest V3 model, the 72RS justifies the extra money with its 72V platform, higher rated output and stronger peak performance.
However, the difference in claimed top speed is relatively small. The bigger change is how strongly and aggressively the 72RS delivers its power.
For most riders, the 60R is the smarter buy. For an experienced rider chasing maximum V3 performance, the 72RS wins.
