What Is the Main Difference?

The main difference between the Revvi 20 Plus and Revvi 24 is the physical size of the bike.

The Revvi 20 Plus uses a compact 20-inch wheel platform. It offers serious power and premium components while remaining relatively manageable for confident older children and younger teenagers.

The Revvi 24 uses much larger 24-inch wheels, a taller chassis and a considerably bigger riding position. It is intended for taller teenagers who have physically outgrown bikes such as the Revvi 18, Revvi 20 or Revvi 20 Plus.

Power and Speed

There is less difference in motor performance than many customers initially expect.

Both bikes use a 48V 1000W brushless hub motor producing up to 1500W peak power and approximately 132Nm of torque. Both therefore offer strong acceleration and considerably more performance than smaller electric balance bikes.

The Revvi 20 Plus has three speed settings of approximately:

• 13.6mph
• 20mph
• 27mph

The Revvi 24 has a top speed of up to approximately 30mph.

In real use, the Revvi 24 does not justify its higher price because it is dramatically more powerful. You choose it because its larger chassis, bigger wheels, stronger braking system and premium suspension are better suited to a taller and heavier rider.

Which Bike Is Easier to Handle?

The Revvi 20 Plus is the easier and more manageable bike for most younger riders.

Its 20-inch wheels and smaller frame make it easier to control at lower speeds, move around when stationary and recover if the rider becomes unbalanced. At approximately 28kg, it still feels like a proper off-road electric bike without immediately moving into a much larger youth platform.

The Revvi 24 feels more planted over rough ground and rolls over larger bumps more easily, but its increased physical size demands more confidence from the rider.

A rider who is only just big enough for the Revvi 24 may feel more comfortable and confident on the Revvi 20 Plus. Choosing the largest bike possible is not always the best option.

Rider Height and Size

The Revvi 20 Plus is generally best suited to riders approximately 145–170cm tall, although suitability will vary depending on inside leg measurement and riding ability.

The Revvi 24 has an adjustable seat height of approximately 78–101cm and is designed for taller youth riders and teenagers. Its 24-inch wheels create a noticeably larger riding position than the 20 Plus.

Suspension Difference

Both bikes have proper adjustable suspension, but the components and overall setup are different.

Revvi 20 Plus Suspension

The Revvi 20 Plus uses EXHO air front forks with adjustable compression and rebound damping. At the rear, it uses a Fastace spring shock with adjustable compression and rebound.

This gives the 20 Plus a far more capable off-road setup than a standard electric balance bike and makes it suitable for tracks, fields and uneven private land.

Revvi 24 Suspension

The Revvi 24 steps up to RST suspension at both ends. The front fork includes compression and rebound adjustment, while the rear uses an RST oil-air mixed shock with rebound adjustment.

Combined with 24-inch wheels and approximately 315mm of ground clearance, the Revvi 24 is better equipped for taller riders tackling rougher terrain.

Suspension winner: Revvi 24. However, the Revvi 20 Plus still has more than enough suspension capability for most riders who fit its chassis correctly.

Brake Difference

The Revvi 20 Plus has hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear, providing smooth and predictable braking with less lever effort than mechanical brakes.

The Revvi 24 upgrades to front and rear 4-piston hydraulic brakes. These offer additional braking force for a larger bike carrying a taller and potentially heavier rider at speeds of up to 30mph.

Battery and Riding Time

Both models use a removable 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery.

Revvi quotes approximately the following constant-use riding times for the Revvi 20 Plus:

• Approximately 1 hour 20 minutes on the lowest speed setting

• Approximately 30 minutes on the fastest setting

The Revvi 24 has a quoted maximum range of approximately 35km or 21–22 miles per charge.

These figures are measured differently and should not be treated as a direct comparison. Actual riding time on either bike will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure and how frequently full power is used.

The Revvi 20 Plus takes approximately three hours to recharge, while the Revvi 24 is quoted at approximately five to six hours.

The Revvi 24 costs approximately £200 more than the Revvi 20 Plus.

For the additional money, you receive:

Neither model is intended as a first electric bike for a very young or nervous beginner.

Both offer up to 1500W peak power and require sensible adult supervision, suitable safety equipment and an appropriate private off-road riding area.

Between the two, the Revvi 20 Plus is the more approachable option because of its smaller chassis and clearly defined three-speed settings.

Less experienced or smaller riders may be better suited to the standard Revvi 20, Revvi 18 or Revvi 16 XL.
