Our view: the ETM RTR Sport is the serious upgraded RTR model — stronger, faster, cooler-running and built for riders who want proper electric pit bike performance.
The Electro & Co ETM RTR Sport is the next evolution of the RTR electric trail machine platform. Designed in California and built for serious off-road riders, the 2026 RTR Sport brings a stronger chassis package, more powerful motor, improved cooling, upgraded brakes and a bigger 72V battery setup.
This is not just a cosmetic refresh. The RTR Sport has been reworked from the inside out to deliver stronger torque, better sustained power, improved temperature stability and a more connected feel on rough terrain.
Available from Garland Powersports with UK delivery options.
My Take as a British MX Rider
The ETM RTR Sport is the Electro & Co model for riders who want the RTR platform, but with more serious performance and stronger hardware underneath them.
The big upgrades are the Revolver Sport motor, 72V 25Ah battery, reinforced swingarm, 420 chain drive and improved braking package. That makes it feel far more like a proper electric pit bike than a lightweight play bike.
For experienced riders, the RTR Sport makes a lot of sense. It has the power, chassis stiffness and range to be ridden hard, especially if you want something compact but genuinely fast.
If you want the more powerful, more serious version of the RTR platform, this is the model to look at.

A Bigger Step Forward for the RTR Platform
The original ETM RTR helped define the compact electric pit bike category. The 2026 ETM RTR Sport takes that platform and improves the areas that matter most to serious riders: power, heat control, battery use, braking, swingarm strength and drivetrain durability.
Key 2026 RTR Sport Upgrades
- E&C Revolver Sport 65H IPM brushless motor
- 8KW peak power output
- 72V 25Ah hot-swappable battery
- High strength 420 chain final drive
- Extra rigid swingarm with CNC MX style axle blocks
- New and improved E&C pit bike disc brakes
- Improved thermal strategy for harder riding sessions
The result is a stronger, faster and more capable RTR model for riders who want to push harder off-road.
Revolver Sport Motor – Built for Serious Power
The RTR Sport introduces the E&C Revolver Sport 65H IPM brushless motor. This motor is designed to deliver a big step forward in torque, throttle response and sustained power compared with smaller electric trail bike setups.
With stronger internal design and improved thermal efficiency, the Revolver Sport motor is built for riders who ride aggressively rather than backing off as soon as the terrain gets tough.
Motor & Power Highlights
- Motor: E&C Revolver Sport 65H IPM brushless motor
- Peak power: 8KW
- Top speed: 55+mph
- Riding modes: three selectable power levels
- Display: bar-mounted LCD display
Three selectable power levels allow the rider to manage performance depending on terrain, ability and conditions.
72V Hot-Swappable Battery System
The ETM RTR Sport uses a 72V 25Ah hot-swappable battery system that can be removed without tools. This makes charging, swapping and day-to-day use much easier than a fixed battery setup.
The newly optimised battery management system is designed to allow deeper usable discharge and more consistent power delivery across a riding session. That means more usable range, more consistent throttle response and less performance drop-off during hard riding.
420 Chain Drive for Stronger Power Transfer
The RTR Sport upgrades to a high strength 420 chain final drive. This gives the bike a stronger, more durable drive system designed to handle higher torque, harder acceleration and repeated off-road impacts.
For riders jumping, accelerating hard or riding rough terrain, the stronger chain and sprocket setup is a meaningful upgrade over lighter duty systems.
Reinforced Swingarm and Rear End
The rear of the RTR Sport has been strengthened with an extra rigid swingarm and CNC MX style axle blocks. This improves durability under load and helps the bike track more consistently when ridden hard.
Chassis Highlights
- Frame: E&C designed tubular steel frame
- Swingarm: extra rigid swingarm with CNC MX style axle blocks
- Footpegs: E&C designed ultra grippy pegs with adjustable mounting position
- Wheelbase: 1130mm
- Weight: 130lbs with 48% front / 52% rear weight balance
The RTR Sport is designed to feel planted, stable and connected when the rider starts pushing harder.
Suspension, Wheels and Braking
The ETM RTR Sport uses a proven 14/12 wheel setup with 48mm E&C tuned dual adjustable front forks and a pit bike grade adjustable rear shock. The suspension is firm, supportive and better suited to riders who want to ride harder than a beginner-level electric bike allows.
Suspension, Wheels & Brakes
- Front suspension: 48mm E&C tuned dual adjustable forks, firm setup
- Rear suspension: pit bike grade adjustable rear shock, firm setup
- Wheel size: 14 inch front / 12 inch rear
- Front tyre: 60/100-14"
- Rear tyre: 80/100-12"
- Brakes: new and improved E&C pit bike disc brakes front and rear
The upgraded braking package gives stronger stopping power and more consistent feel for aggressive trail riding.
Who Is the ETM RTR Sport For?
Best for Experienced Teens and Adults

It suits riders who want a compact electric pit bike with serious acceleration, stronger hardware and real trail capability.
