Correct winter storage can help protect your Revvi battery, electrical components, chain, brakes, tyres and frame during periods when the bike is not being used. Follow this practical checklist before putting a Revvi away for several weeks or months.
Why winter storage matters
A Revvi should not simply be put away wet, muddy or with a completely flat battery. Damp storage can encourage corrosion, dirt can retain moisture around moving parts, and a lithium battery left discharged for a long period may become difficult or impossible to recover.
Protect the battery
Avoid leaving the battery fully discharged and keep it away from freezing, excessive heat and damp conditions.
Prevent corrosion
Clean and dry the bike properly before storage, paying attention to the chain, fasteners, frame and exposed metal components.

How to store a Revvi for winter
Clean the bike carefully
Remove loose dirt and mud using a soft brush and a lightly damp cloth. Clean around the frame, wheels, chain guard and underside of the bike.
- Switch the bike off before cleaning.
- Remove the battery where the model permits.
- Avoid directing water at electrical components.
- Do not use a pressure washer.
Allow everything to dry
The bike must be completely dry before being covered or moved into long-term storage. Pay particular attention to joints, fasteners, electrical connections and the chain.
