    10TEN JHL SK110 12/10 Pit Bike – Quick Overview

Best for: smaller riders who need a low, compact pit bike and are ready to begin learning gear selection.

    Engine: HS110 four-stroke producing a claimed maximum of 7hp.

Transmission: four-speed semi-automatic gearbox with no manual clutch lever.

    Starting: electric and kick start.

Wheel size: 12-inch front and 10-inch rear.

    Seat height: 630mm / 63cm.

Standout feature: 110cc semi-automatic performance in the same low-seat SK platform as the smaller starter model.

Our view: the ideal bridge between the fully automatic SK70 and larger MK110 for a smaller rider who is ready to begin selecting gears.

The 10TEN JHL SK110 12/10 takes the compact SK platform and adds a 110cc four-stroke engine, four-speed semi-automatic gearbox and larger 12-inch front wheel.

Producing a claimed maximum of 7hp, it provides a useful performance increase over the SK70 while retaining the same manageable 630mm seat height and 1015mm wheelbase.

The rider selects each gear using the foot-operated lever, but there is no manual clutch lever. This allows a developing rider to learn gear selection without having to coordinate the clutch and throttle at the same time.

For a smaller rider who needs more progression than the automatic SK70 but is not physically ready for the taller MK110, the SK110 fills an important gap.

Our Take on the 10TEN JHL SK110

The SK110 is not simply a smaller MK110. Its 630mm seat height and compact wheelbase make it a genuinely different fit for shorter riders.

The semi-automatic transmission introduces the important skill of gear selection without adding a clutch lever. That makes the transition from an automatic bike much less intimidating.

Choose the SK110 when the rider still needs a low chassis but has progressed beyond the fully automatic controls of the SK70.

Why Choose the 10TEN JHL SK110?

    Semi-Automatic Gears

Four foot-operated gears introduce gear selection without requiring a manual clutch lever.

    110cc Four-Stroke

The HS110 engine produces a claimed maximum of 7hp for recreational off-road riding.

    Low 630mm Seat

The compact riding position suits smaller riders who would struggle with the taller MK chassis.

    Electric & Kick Start

Push-button convenience is backed up by a conventional kick-starting system.

    12/10-Inch Wheels

A larger front wheel improves rough-ground ability while the 10-inch rear keeps the seat low.

    Hydraulic Brakes

Front and rear hydraulic discs provide controlled stopping performance.

Learn Gears Without a Manual Clutch

    The SK110 uses a four-speed semi-automatic gearbox.

The rider changes gear using the conventional foot-operated lever, but the internal clutch operates automatically. There is no clutch lever on the handlebar to coordinate during starts or gear changes.

This allows the rider to concentrate on choosing the correct gear, managing the throttle, braking and developing their off-road technique.

It makes the SK110 a logical next step from a fully automatic petrol bike or a smaller electric balance bike.

Important: Semi-automatic does not mean fully automatic. The rider must still select each gear using the foot-operated gear lever.

    HS110 Four-Stroke Engine – 7hp

Power comes from the HS110 four-stroke engine, producing a claimed maximum output of 7hp.

This provides a useful increase over the 70cc SK70 while retaining a compact chassis designed around smaller riders.

Fuelling is handled by a PZ19 carburettor, while the compact 3.5-litre fuel tank is fitted with a CNC vent valve.

The conventional four-stroke and carburettor setup is straightforward, but correct assembly, initial setup and routine servicing remain essential.

    Electric and Kick Start

The SK110 comes with both electric and kick start.

The electric starter provides convenient push-button starting, while the kick starter remains available as a practical backup.

A 5Ah gel battery powers the electric starting system. Battery condition, fuel quality, carburettor setup and routine maintenance will all affect starting performance.

630mm Seat Height and Compact 12/10 Chassis

The SK110 has a 630mm seat height, 1015mm wheelbase and 12-inch front with 10-inch rear wheel combination.

Its overall dimensions are approximately 1440 × 650 × 900mm, keeping the bike low and manageable.

The 12-inch front wheel helps it roll more easily over bumps and uneven terrain than the 10-inch front wheel fitted to the SK70. The 10-inch rear retains the accessible seat height.

    SK110 or MK110?

Both models use 110cc engines and semi-automatic gearboxes. The key difference is their physical size:

    • SK110: 630mm seat and 12/10-inch wheels
    • MK110: 750mm seat and 14/12-inch wheels

Read our complete SK110 vs MK110 comparison.

Rider fit should be assessed using height, inside-leg measurement, physical strength, experience and confidence rather than age alone.

Use our 10TEN JHL pit bike size guide to compare the complete range.

    Proper Off-Road Equipment

The SK110 may be compact, but it still receives the essential equipment expected from a proper recreational pit bike.

Hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear provide controlled stopping performance.

At the front is straightforward 33mm telescopic suspension, paired with rear suspension matched to the compact chassis.

The wheels use durable black steel rims with silver aluminium hubs and Yuangxing off-road tyres:

    • Front: 2.50-12 Yuangxing tyre
    • Rear: 3.00-10 Yuangxing tyre

Stainless steel footpegs provide a secure platform, while a steel engine bottom protector helps shield the underside of the engine from debris and minor impacts.

    Final Drive and Routine Servicing

Drive to the rear wheel is handled by a heavy-duty 428H Choho chain, running on a 14-tooth steel front sprocket and 39-tooth steel rear sprocket.

An hourmeter is fitted as standard, making it easier to record engine running time and follow oil-change, valve-check and routine servicing intervals.

The bike is finished with a black frame, black steel handlebars, steel and aluminium exhaust, and distinctive 10TEN with JHLOFR graphics.

    Delivery, Assembly and First-Ride Checks

10TEN JHL pit bikes are held boxed in UK warehousing ready for nationwide dispatch. Unless a fully assembled option is selected and confirmed, the bike will require final assembly, setup and a complete safety inspection before use.

Before the first ride, check the brakes, gear selection, throttle, steering, wheels, axles, chain alignment and tension, suspension fasteners, tyre pressures, engine oil, fuel system and all safety-critical fixings.

The bike must not be ridden until it has been correctly assembled, serviced and confirmed safe. Regular pre-ride checks and ongoing maintenance remain the owner’s responsibility.

    Private-Land Use Only

The 10TEN JHL SK110 is an off-road pit bike intended for responsible recreational use on suitable private land with the landowner’s permission. It is not road legal and must not be used on public roads, pavements, cycle paths or other public spaces. Suitable protective equipment and responsible adult supervision are essential.

    10TEN JHL SK110 FAQs

Does the 10TEN JHL SK110 have a clutch lever?

No. It uses a semi-automatic gearbox, allowing the rider to select gears with the foot lever without operating a manual clutch.

    Is the SK110 fully automatic?

No. The clutch operates automatically, but the rider must still select between the four gears using the foot-operated gear lever.

What is the difference between the SK70 and SK110?

The SK70 has a 70cc engine, fully automatic controls and 10/10-inch wheels. The SK110 has a 110cc engine, four-speed semi-automatic gearbox and 12/10-inch wheels. Both have a 630mm seat height.

What is the difference between the SK110 and MK110?

Both use 110cc engines and semi-automatic gearboxes. The SK110 has a 630mm seat and 12/10-inch wheels, while the MK110 has a 750mm seat and larger 14/12-inch wheels.

Is the SK110 suitable for beginners?

Yes, provided the rider fits the bike and is ready to learn gear selection. A complete beginner needing the simplest controls may be better suited to the automatic SK70.

Does the SK110 have electric start?

Yes. Both electric and kick start are fitted as standard.

    What is the seat height?

The stated seat height is approximately 630mm or 63cm.

    Is the SK110 road legal?

No. It is intended for off-road use on suitable private land with the landowner’s permission.

    Our Verdict

Choose the SK110 when the rider needs a compact 630mm-seat bike but is ready to begin learning foot-operated gears.

Its biggest advantage is the combination of semi-automatic 110cc performance with a low chassis that remains accessible to smaller riders.

For a rider positioned between the automatic SK70 and physically larger MK110, the SK110 is the correct bridge through the range.
