1. 10TEN JHL SK70
The SK70 removes two of the biggest complications for a new petrol-bike rider: gear selection and clutch control.
Its automatic clutch means the rider can concentrate on balance, throttle control, braking and turning. Electric start also makes getting going again straightforward.

2. 10TEN JHL SK110
The SK110 retains the SK70’s low 630mm seat but adds a four-speed semi-automatic gearbox and a larger 12-inch front wheel.
The rider changes gear with the foot lever, but there is no manual clutch lever. It is ideal when a smaller rider is ready to learn gear selection without managing every control at once.

3. 10TEN JHL MK110
The MK110 is the main choice for a beginner who needs more physical room than the SK chassis provides.
Its 14/12-inch wheels, 750mm seat and longer wheelbase create a more conventional mid-size pit-bike platform. The four-speed semi-automatic gearbox still avoids the need for a clutch lever.

The rider coordinates the clutch, throttle and gearbox. Better treated as progression unless they already have suitable experience.

Is the MK125 suitable for a beginner?
The MK125 can suit a rider beginning on a manual-clutch bike, but it is not our default recommendation for a complete novice.
It uses the same 750mm-seat, 14/12-inch chassis format as the MK110, but adds a conventional clutch and more powerful 125cc engine.
For most new riders, the MK110 offers the easier learning route. The MK125 becomes the better choice once clutch control is an appropriate next skill.
Larger-frame models
Are the LK125 and LK140 beginner bikes?
The LK125 and LK140 use larger 17/14-inch wheels, an 830mm seat and manual-clutch gearboxes. They are designed for riders who need more physical room and already have the ability to manage a larger machine.
A taller rider with previous geared-bike experience may suit the LK125, but neither LK model should automatically be selected simply to provide growing room.
For most first-time riders, the automatic SK70 or semi-automatic SK110 and MK110 offer a clearer learning route.
