Revvi 12 Stabilisers & Helmet Bundle – Quick Overview

Best for: younger beginner riders who need extra balance support and a suitable full-face helmet.

Bike included: Revvi 12 100W Electric Balance Bike.

Bundle extras: removable Revvi 12 stabilisers and a matching Revvi full-face helmet.

Typical rider age: approximately 2–5 years old, depending on height, balance and confidence.

Why parents choose it: the bike, additional balance support and essential head protection are all included together.

Our view: the most complete Revvi 12 starter bundle for a young or nervous first-time rider.

The Revvi 12 Electric Bike, Stabilisers & Helmet Bundle gives a young rider a complete and supportive introduction to electric riding.

This package combines the lightweight Revvi 12 electric balance bike with removable stabilisers and a matching full-face helmet. It is designed for younger, nervous or less confident riders who may benefit from additional support during their first riding sessions.

    My Take

The Revvi 12 is designed to work as a balance bike first, which is normally the best way for a child to develop balance and coordination naturally.

That said, every child develops differently. For a very young, nervous or less confident rider, stabilisers can be a useful stepping stone while they become comfortable sitting on the bike, steering and using the controls.

The full-face helmet means the main protective item is already included, while the stabilisers can be removed once the rider is ready to begin balancing independently.

If your child needs extra support and does not already own a suitable helmet, this is the Revvi 12 bundle I would choose.

    What’s Included?

    • Revvi 12 100W Electric Balance Bike
    • Removable Revvi 12 Stabiliser Wheels
    • Revvi MTB Full Face Kids Helmet
    • Standard 24V 2.6Ah Revvi Battery
    • UK Battery Charger
    • Owner’s Manual and Basic Tool Kit

Why Choose the Stabilisers & Helmet Bundle?

    Extra Confidence

Stabilisers provide additional support while a young rider becomes familiar with the bike.

    Full-Face Helmet

A matching full-face helmet is included, with a choice of sizes to help achieve the correct fit.

    Removable Design

The stabilisers can be removed once the rider is ready to progress towards balancing independently.

    Complete Starter Package

The bike, stabilisers and helmet are supplied together in one convenient order.

Who Is This Bundle Best For?

The Revvi 12 Stabilisers & Helmet Bundle is best suited to young beginner riders who may not yet be ready to balance independently.

It is typically most suitable for children aged approximately 2–5 years old and riders under approximately 105cm tall. However, height, inside-leg measurement, coordination and confidence are more important than age alone.

The rider should be able to reach the handlebars and controls comfortably, place both feet securely on the ground and support the approximately 9kg bike.

    Very Young Beginner
The stabilisers provide additional support during the first riding sessions.
    Nervous Rider
Useful for a child who needs time to become comfortable with the bike and controls.
    Confident Balance-Bike Rider
The standard Revvi 12 without stabilisers may be the better starting point.

    Important Stabiliser Usage Advice

The stabilisers must only be used with the bike in its lowest speed setting.

They are intended to provide balance support during slow, controlled and predominantly straight-line riding. They are not designed for higher-speed use, aggressive riding or fast cornering.

Using stabilisers at higher speeds or placing excessive sideways load through them may cause instability or damage.

Once the rider can steer and corner confidently at low speed, the stabilisers should be removed so they can begin developing independent balance and control.

    Helmet Sizing Guide

For the best fit, measure around the widest part of the rider’s head and use the measurements below when selecting a helmet size.

    Size Head Circumference
    XS 48–50cm
    S 51–54cm
    M 55–58cm
    L 59–61cm

Head circumference should be used instead of age when selecting the most suitable helmet size. The helmet must fit securely and be correctly fastened before riding.

Should Children Learn With or Without Stabilisers?

Where possible, learning on a balance bike without stabilisers is normally the best way to develop balance naturally. However, stabilisers can still be useful for very young, nervous or less confident riders who need additional support at the beginning.

The aim should be to use the stabilisers as a temporary confidence-building aid rather than a permanent part of the bike.

    Use Stabilisers Initially
Best when the rider is nervous, very young or unable to balance independently.
    Remove When Confident
Take them off once the rider can steer and corner comfortably at low speed.
    Standard Revvi 12
Best for a child who already has confidence and balance-bike experience.

    Our Verdict

Choose the Stabilisers & Helmet Bundle if your child needs extra support and does not already own a correctly fitting helmet.

Choose the standard Revvi 12 if your child is already confident on a balance bike and has suitable protective equipment.

For very young, nervous or first-time riders, this is the most complete and supportive Revvi 12 starter package.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

SizeAge guide
Age 2About 2 years
Age 3About 3 years
Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength
2 to 3Ages 2 to 331cm49cm
3 to 4Ages 3 to 433cm51cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 535cm53cm
5 to 6Ages 5 to 637cm55cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 739cm57cm
YS, Youth SmallAges 7 to 941cm59cm
YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
